Big, Bold Shifts…

…the willingness to “go” beyond our comfort zones.
I have learned (probably not as well as I should), that there is little attainable value in being conceptually so far ahead of mainstream practices that one cannot possibly and effectively construct a quantifiable knowledge bridge between reality as we know and understand it, and possibilities as we see and/or imagine them.
Perhaps… No, no-doubts that BIG, BOLD SHIFTS must first occur within ourselves; not necessarily about our ability to think, explore and create per se (we’re probably all very good at this or wouldn’t be reading this), but about enhancing our abilities to patiently, efficiently and quantifiably build these bridges of understanding.
Although today’s script isn’t dramatically different from the one we explored and read from 20 years ago, the “stage-set” for the play – the current geo-political, economic and societal reality – is fresh, unrecognizable and fertile to receive all well conceived ideas.
What an opportunity for us… What exciting times… What a privilege to breathe and play that which resonates and is at the core of our professional selves.
